For the second part of the field trip, Sarah and her classmates went to Lake Farm park; A farm opened to the public in 1990 with a variety of farm animals. The farm offers tractor rides, dairy cow milking sessions and lots of interesting architecture. Once again, Sarah and her photography classmates were challenged to take interesting pictures of farm scenes, animals and architecture. During the 2 hours at the farm, the students were required to get shots of farm scenes, animals and architecture. Sarah found Lake Farm Park an easier place to take pictures at because there were more subjects to take pictures of. Her favorite seen to shoot at the farm was the horses. She loved the challenge of taking pictures of them while they were running and playing. Sarah's favorite picture she took is the one of the sheep because she loves the feeling it gives her and the contrast between the black and the white. Her second favorite shot is the one of the farm scene. She loves the contrast between the cool grass and the red fence, and the way the photo follows the rule of thirds. Overall, Sarah really enjoyed snapping photos at Lake Farm Park, and she would love to go back one day.
